Former Padma Oil MD arrested

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested Md Abul Khair, former managing director of Padma Oil Company Limited (POCL), from his Gulshan residence on Thursday for embezzling Tk 3.8 crore.

A team of ACC conducted a raid on the house of Khair at dead of night and arrested him, said ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
