Ctg BCL leader beaten dead

A local leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), a front organisation of the ruling Awami League, was beaten to death in Chittagong this morning.

Sudipto Biswas, 28, joint secretary of Chittagong city BCL unit, was killed allegedly by some of his fellow activists, said Marzina Akhter, officer in-charge (OC) of Shadarghat Police Station in the city.
