4 Pallabi JMB men jailed for 12 years

Four militants of banned outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) have been jailed for 12 years in an explosives case filed with Pallabi police.
Judge Nityananda Sarkar of the Special Tribunal-7 of Dhaka handed down the sentence to Isahak Sheikh, Anach Ali, Rafiqul Islam and Khalil Mia in their presence today.
According to prosecution, lawmen raided a house in Pallabi on August 2, 2007, arrested the four and seized explosives, bomb making materials from their possession.
Sub inspector Khandaker Mizanur Rahman of Rab filed a case against them with Pallabi Police Station under the Explosives Substances Act.
