Drug peddler killed in city clash

A suspected drug dealer was killed in a clash between two groups of local drug peddlers at Kadamtali in Dhaka early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Billal, 36, a resident of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Kadamtali Police Station Abdul Jalil said two gangs of local drug peddlers locked in a clash over establishing dominance at WASA plant in the area around 3:00 am.
During the clash, Billal received bullet wounds and died on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered his body around 5:00 am, the OC added. b
