Day labourer killed in Jessore road accident

A day labourer was killed in a road accident in Mandartala area on Jessore-Magura road of Sadar upazila on Sunday evening. 

The deceased was identified as Jamal Hossain, 55, son of Mansur Ali, a resident of Bahadurpur Mandartala village of the upazila. 

Rohima Begum, wife of the victim, said the accident took place in the area when motorcycle hit Jamal while he was returning home, leaving him critically injured. 

Local people rescued him and sent him to Jessore General Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
