A section of the CNG auto-rickshaw transport workers will strike in Dhaka city over an eight-point demand including a stop to app-based ride hailing services.
Dhaka District CNG Auto-rickshaw and Mishuk Union’s Member Secretary Shakhawat Hossain Dulal today said that it will be a 48-hour strike.
Their prime demand is to replace the CNG auto-rickshaws which are more than 15 years old.
In continuation of their agitation, Dulal said auto-rickshaw workers will demonstrate near Jatiya Press Club on November 22, and on December 10, they will go for besieging the BRTA.
