ACC arrests Brokerage Alliance chairman for ‘amassing Tk8.5cr’

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today arrested the chairman of Brokerage Alliance Securities and Management Limited in connection with a case filed for allegedly amassing wealth amounting to Tk 8.5 crore beyond the known source of income.
A team of the anti-corruption watch dog arrested Pankaj Ray from his Dhanmondi residence this morning, said ACC Deputy Assistant Director Sylvia Ferdous.
The case was filed with Ramna Police Station yesterday evening, the ACC official added.
