60 held in Jessore on various charges

Police arrested 60 people in separate drives in the district from Monday night to Tuesday morning. 

According to the Police Control Room here, the arrestees are accused of various criminal cases, including violence. 

Among the arrestees, 20 are from Kotwali, three from Chaugachha, six from Sharsha, eight from Jhikargachha, four from Benapole, three from Keshabpur, nine from Manirampur, four from Abhaynagar and three from Bagharpara.

They were sent to court at noon.
