2 drug traders held at Benapole

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two drug traders along with 20 kilograms of hemps from a paddy field in front of Kodlarhat High School at Benapole on Tuesday night. 

On secrete information, BGB members from Ragunathpur Camp raided here at about 8:30 pm and arrested Md Ziur Rahman, 40, son of Md Mojibur Rahman and Israfil, 30, son of Abdur Razzak and recovered 20 kilograms of hemps from their possession, said Lt Col Ariful Haque, commanding officer of  BGB-49. 

Later, the arrestees and the seized drugs worth about Tk 70,000 were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station.

A case was filed.
