2 held with arms in Rajshahi

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two alleged terrorists along with arms from Namajgram area of Puthia upazila on Tuesday night.

The arrestees were identified as Mahmudul Hasan Rantu, 31, and Amzad Hossain Sumon, 32.

Being tipped-off, a team of Rab-5 led by major A M Ashraful Islam, conducted a drive in the area around 11:10 am and arrested the duo along with a foreign pistol, two magazines, two rounds of bullets and two mobile sets, said a Rab press release.
