5 Nigerian footballers among 7 held in Dhaka

Law enforcers today claimed detention of seven persons including five Nigerian footballers on charge of fraudulence from different places in Dhaka city.

The five Nigerian detainees were identified as OgokhoyaOnochi, 32, Maurice 34, Obina, 35, Henry 24, Anthony KozitoArrengi, 26, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) says.

Two Bangladesh citizens—MdKausar Ahmed and Raisul Islam Asad—were also held during the drive, according to a press release of CID.

Special Superintendent of Organised Crime, Mollah Nazrul Islam said that they have so far tracked 19 accounts, which have record of such illegal transactions.
