2 motorcyclists killed in Jamalpur road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident near Rashidpur bridge in the sadar municipality on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Rajon, 27, son of Rehan Ali, Mukta, 26, son of Afsar Uddin, residents of Rakherpara village of Melandaha upazila.
The accident took place around 12am when a motorcycle hit an electric pole, leaving its two riders dead on the spot, said Nasimul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
Locals spotted the unidentified bodies in the early morning on Friday and informed police.
Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Jamalpur General Hospital for autopsy.
On information, victim’s relatives identified the bodies.
