40 gold bars seized at Sylhet airport

Customs officials seized 40 gold bars at Sylhet Osmani International Airport here on Saturday.

On information, a team of customs officials conducted a drive in an aircraft of Dubai Airlines around 12pm and recovered the gold bars concealed under a seat, said Customs Super Fazlur Rahman.

However, none was arrested in this connection.
