Prime Minister mourns death of Maidul Islam, MP

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of parliament member and former minister AKM Maidul Islam.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Maidul, a Jatiya Party lawmaker from Kurigram -3 constituency, breathed his last due to old-age complications at the United Hospital in Dhaka last night at the age of 78.
