The long tailback created at Feni and Chouddagram points of Cumilla on Dhaka-Chattogram  highway causing immense sufferings to passengers for the last five days has been reduced to 15 km from Sunday’s 110 km.

Besides, now there is a 15 km tailback from Padua in Cumilla to Lemuabazar in Feni Sadar.

Highway police sources said that the vehicles were moving slowly.

Earlier, a 110-km tailback was created on the highway from Chouddagram on Friday night, causing immense sufferings to the commuters.

The construction of an overpass in Fatehpur in Feni caused the tailback which went out of control.

However, the situation has been brought under control on Sunday night.
