32 gold bars seized at Chattogram airport

Customs officials on Wednesday seized 32 gold bars weighing around 3.5 kg from a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at Shah Amanat International Airport in the city.
Airport manager Sarwar-e-Jahan said a team of customs officials found the gold bars in an abandoned bag recovered from the Biman flight came from Dubai and was flying to Dhaka via Chattogram around 11am.
However, none was arrested in this connection.
