College student found dead in National Botanical Garden

Police recovered body of a college student from the National Botanical Garden on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased is Shahin, 20, resident of Stern Housing at Rupnagar area in Mirpur, and a student of BAF Shaheen College in Dhaka.
Visitors at the garden spotted the body and informed police, reports UNB.
On information, police recovered the body around 6:15pm from the spot, said Mehedi Hasan, Inspector (operations) of Shah Ali police station.
The body was sent to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy, said Mehedi Hasan adding that “The body bore no injury marks”.
Victim’s family members said Shahin went out of the residence around 11:00am, which was not unusual for him.
