2nd phase upazila election on March 18

The Election Commission on Thursday declared the schedule of second phase election to 129 upazila parishads slated for March 18.

Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed announced the election schedule at a press conference this afternoon.

The last date for filing nomination papers is February 18, and the deadline for withdrawing nominations is February 27, Election Commission Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed announced adding that the nomination papers will be scrutinised February 27.
