Migrants, mostly Bangladeshis stranded in boat off Tunisia

A rescue boat with 75 migrants, most of them from Bangladesh, has been stranded in boat off Tunisia for 12 days as the authorities are not allowing  them to disembark, according to information disclosed by the Red Crescent on Tuesday.

Media reports revealed that the Egyptian boat rescued the migrants in Tunisian waters, but authorities in the governorate of Medinine are not permitting to come ashore because migrant centers are too overcrowded,

According to Red Crescent official, physicians had reached the boat to provide some medical assistance, but the migrants had refused food and medical aid. Rather, they were demanding that they be allowed to cross into Europe so that they can get chance of better life after reaching.
