2 Rohingya siblings drown in Cox’s Bazar

Two Rohingya siblings drowned in a waterbody at Hakimpara in Ukhia upazila of Cox's Bazar on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Anwar Sadek, 7 and Anwar Foysal, 6—two sons of Abdus Salam of Hakimpara No 14 Rohingya camp in the upazila.
Nurul Islam, inspector of Ukhia Police Station, said the two children went out of their camp in the morning.
As they did not return the camp till Thursday evening, local people went to Hakimpara ground which went under water due to the onrush of hill water and rain and found the floating bodies of the children around 10:30 pm.
