PM for boosting waterway connectivity with India

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday emphasised strengthening waterway connectivity to promote trade and commerce between Bangladesh and India.

She put emphasis on increasing the connectivity when Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das paid a courtesy call on her at her official residence Ganobhaban in the city.

PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting.

During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues of interest between the two neighbouring countries.

Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman was present at the meeting.
