Minni has no major health hazards, says doctor

Minni has no major health complications; she has minor pains in her body. She is in pressure mentally after the murder of her husband.

Dr Habibur Rahman, a medical officer of Barguna Civil Surgeon’s office, came up with these statements after conducting health inspection of Minni at the Barguna jail this morning.

Aysha Siddika Minni is currently in jail in connection with the murder of her husband Rifat Sharif.

In reply to a question ‘whether Minni was tortured physically’ by journalists, Habibur Rahman said, “I found nothing like that. She has been suffering from headaches and is having difficulty sleeping at night.”

Besides, the doctor has also directed the jail authorities to keep her in bed rest until she recovers fully.
