RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed has warned of legal action if anyone of the country trying to fish in troubled water over the Kashmir issue.

He made the warning at a view exchange meeting with a group of journalists on the security issues of Eid-ul-Azha and National Mourning Day at RAB media centre in the capital’s Karwan Bazar area on Friday noon.

Chief of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) said, “The scraping Kashmir’s autonomy is the internal matter of India. We have no comment on it.  The number of ultra-Islamists in our country is not so many. How many we have are under our 24-hour surveillance.”

“There is no reason of catching fish in troubled waters by any wise person with the issue which is not related to our country. Even if anyone tries to do so, legal action will be taken against him or her,” he said.

He also informed that RAB members are monitoring the security measures of every bus, launch and train terminals to ensure hassle-free Eid-journeys for the holidaymakers.

“The agency has been working to make Eid-journeys as much comfortable as possible for the home-bound people,” he added.
