Parlour employee beaten to death in Gazipur: Two held

An employee of a gent’s parlour was beaten to death allegedly by his employer at Jorpukur in the district town on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Rony, hailing from Naogaon district.

Ezaz Shafi, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said parlour owner Rinku took Rony to his house following an allegation that Rony sexually harassed his sister.

Later, he along with Fahim and Azmeri beat Rony up mercilessly, leaving him critically injured.

Rony was taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Local people caught Fahim and Azmeri while trying to flee the spot. They were handed over to police.
