A Dhaka court on Tuesday granted a 5-day remand for expelled Jubo League leader Arman, a close aide of ‘casino’ Samrat.

Police produced Arman before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court at this morning.

Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain issued a five-day remand in narcotics case after remand hearing.

Right from 2013, Arman started to look after Samrat’s casino empire and gambling business. He mainly controlled the Mohammedan Sporting Club and Dilkusha Sporting Club in the capital. There are also allegations that he amassed massive amounts of wealth through extortion and tender manipulations.
