Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon on Wednesday said the board is ready to fulfill all the demands of national cricketers.

He came up with the announcement while talking to reporters after holding a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban.

Papon discussed about the ongoing strike of national cricketers with the premier after he entered the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) this afternoon.

Sheikh Hasina inquired the BCB boss of why national cricketers have gone for a strike despite her door is open for them round the clock.

She also said that she has directed ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza to take necessary steps to ease the ongoing crisis between the BCB and national cricketers.

On Monday, dozens of top cricketers including national stars Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad, placed an 11-point demand and announced a boycott of cricket-related activities if the demands were not met.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the BCB chief blasted the cricketers for their unprecedented strike and smelt conspiracy behind the situation ahead of India tour next month.
