Road Transport Act goes into effect

The Road Transport Act-2018 has gone into effect from today amid demand of amendments to some sections of the law by Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation.
On October 22, the Road Transport and Highways Division issued a gazette, stating that the law would be effective from November 1, without any changes.
Parliament passed it in September last year.
