3 dead as bus crushes auto-rickshaw in Pirojpur

In Mathbaria Upazila of Pirojpur early Sunday, at least three people were killed and two others injured as a bus crashed over a CNG-run auto-rickshaw.

The deceased's identities were not yet known.

Mathbaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masudujjaman said the accident occurred around 6:00 am when the speeding Eagle Paribahan bus crushed the auto-rickshaw in the Musullibari area, leaving three car-rickshaw riders dead on the spot and two others wounded.

The wounded have been admitted to the local hospital.
