Man held with 20 gold bars at airport

A man was arrested on Sunday at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram along with 20 gold bars by customs officials.
Mohammad Ohidul Alam is the arrested person.
A plane of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Dubai arrived at the airport about 9 am, said Khairul Kabir, assistant airport manager.
Tipped off, a group from the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation searched Alam's luggage on the airport's boarding lounge and retrieved the gold bars, he said.
