70 hurt as AL, BNP men lock in clash in Sirajganj

In a violent clash between the Awami League (AL) and BNP activists on Sunday at the EB road area in Sirajganj district, 70 people were injured.
The clash erupted at 11:00am when a parade in the city was carried out by AL.
Additional police superintendent Abu Yousuf said during the clash which lasted about an hour, both sides used local weapons. Police rushed to the scene on data, getting the situation under control.
In the village, a temporary police camp was set up to prevent further clashes.
