PM's Military Secretary Joynul Abedin dies

The security secretary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Major General Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at a hospital in Singapore.

At 5:13pm Bangladesh time, he breathed his last while receiving treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

The death news of Maj Gen Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin was confirmed by Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadvi, nephew and MP of Chattogram-15.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina voiced her profound shock at Joynul Abedin's death. The PMO said on Tuesday night this releases a message of condolence.
