‘Allahor Dal’ man arrested in Gaibandha

Rapid Action Battalion(RAB-13) arrested in the early hours of Friday a suspected top leader of the outlawed militant organization ' Allahor Dal' from the Puraton Jailmor union of Gaibandha district.

"On a tip-off, a special RAB-13 team carried out a raid there and arrested Md Azmat Ansari, Gaibandha district of' Allahor Dal,' from his store," said a press release issued today by RAB-13 Media Officer Major Galib Muhammad Natikur Rahman.

The elite force has rescued from his custody  ' Jihadi '  books and flyers.

During the interview, the arrested admitted that since 2001 he had been working anonymously to perform ads for the outlawed militant organization.

He was arrested for militantism in 2006. Upon his release from prison, he started to organize secret meetings with members of the organization at his eccentric store.

"The elite force handed him over to Gaibandha Sadar Thana today after filing a case against the accused terrorist," Major Galib said.
