Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim yesterday said there is no scope for leak of question paper for MMBS and BDS admission tests as highest transparency and cautionary measures have been taken to hold the examinations.

"A vested quarter always grab a good amount of money by making lie about question paper leak in the name of selling suggestion paper before examination. Few admission coaching centers have link with such conspiracies. Admission seekers and their guardians get confused becoming the victim of the conspirators," he told a meeting at the Secretariat on security measures in the upcoming first year admission test for MBBS and BDS courses.

Nasim said a clique used to spread rumor of question paper leak on different social media including Facebook to tarnish the image of the government. "If such incident occur this time, legal action would be taken against the offenders under ICT Act" he added.

The minister said the government has taken preparation to ensure transparency in the examination process so that admission aspirants can appear at the test properly.

He said noted educationist Professor Zafar Iqbal, journalist Golam Sarwar, columnist and human right activist Syed Abul Maksud, journalists Naimul Islam Khan, Abdul Kaium and Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul and senior personalities of medical education have been taken in the oversight committee to oversee the admission tests.

Admission tests for MMBS courses in 2016-17 sessions will be held on October 7 and BDS courses on November 4.

Some 90,426 MMBS admission seekers will vie in the test against 3,212 seats in government medical colleges and 6,205 in private others.
