9 more die of Covid-19, 306 new cases detected

The death toll from coronavirus rose to 84 in Bangladesh as the country confirmed nine more deaths on Saturday.
The tally of infections also soared to 2,144 after 306 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
“Some 2144 corona samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. Nine more people have died of the disease and 306 new patients have been detected,” Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said.
She came up with the information while addressing an online regular health bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) about the latest corona situation in the country.
The director also said eight more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours and a total of 66 patients have been recovered from the disease so far.
