Bangladesh reports 8 more deaths from coronavirus, 636 new cases

Eight more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh, bringing the death toll in the country to 213 in the last 24 hours till Sunday.
In addition, total confirmed cases stood at 13770, with 636 more individuals testing positive for coronavirus over the period.
Bangladesh first identified the virus on Mar 8.Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, Additional Director-General of the Health Services Directorate (DGHS), reported on Saturday afternoon at the Management Information System (MIS) in the daily online health newsletter.
A total of 2,414 patients recovered from the virus so far in the country, she said.
In the last 24 hours, several coronavirus testing laboratories across the country, tested 5,465 samples, she added.
Earlier on April 16, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) declared the entire country as ‘vulnerable zone’ to virus infection.
