Two UPDF goons killed, an Army soldier injured in fire trading

As UPDF cadres opened fire on the soldiers who retaliated on Tuesday afternoon, two criminals were killed and one Bangladesh Army soldier was wounded in Rangamati.

The Army, acting on a tip-off, raided Rangamati Naniarchar to arrest UPDF (Proshit Group), extortionists.

The suspects, sensing the presence of soldiers, launched an assault with weapons from a nearby hillock, ISPR said. 

Two UPDF extortionists were killed by the fire trade, while one army soldier was wounded. In the action, an AK 22 SMG was retrieved from the spot by the military.

For better treatment, Soldier Sahabuddin was airlifted to Chattogram CMH.

The police inspected the site and there was a mandatory legal move underway.
