Barrister Rafique-ul Haque hospitalised again

Rafique-ul Haque, a prominent lawyer and former Attorney General Barrister, was hospitalized again. He was admitted to the Ad-Din Hospital in the capital's Moghbazar as he felt unwell at noon on Sunday.

Earlier, on Saturday, with the permission of physicians, the lawyer returned home from the hospital as his condition improved.

On October 15th, due to physical problems, he was admitted to the Ad-Din Hospital in Moghbazar, the capital.

He was held in the VIP cabin of the hospital after his review and was treated under the supervision of Dr. Richmond Gomez, said Tabibur Rahman Akash, the hospital's public relations officer.

In 1990, Barrister Haque became the chief legal officer of the country.

During the military-backed caretaker regime of 2007-2008, as a legal practitioner, he played a key role in fighting cases against top political leaders in the country.
