After they arrived at Sylhet's Osmani International Airport from London, twenty-eight more UK returnees were held in institutional quarantine following the government's laws.

Earlier, at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, a Biman (BG-202) flight carrying 34 passengers arrived at Sylhet airport from Heathrow airport in London. Later, with the rest of the passengers, Sylhet departed for Dhaka.

Confirming the news, Hafiz Ahmed, the airport manager, said that, under strict arrangements, they were taken to a hotel in Sylhet city via several BRTC buses.

42 UK returnees were placed under institutional quarantine earlier on Monday to curb the latest coronavirus strain.
