Journalist Rozina Islam's bail hearing on Sunday

Prothom Alo senior reporter Rozina Islam's bail hearing has ended. The order will be issued next Sunday (May 23). The bail hearing began at 12:50 pm on Thursday (May 20) in the virtual court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah.
A few other lawyers, including Prashant Kumar Karmakar and Ehsanul Haque Samaji, took part in the bail hearing on behalf of Rozina Islam.
Rozina's lawyer Ehsanul Haque Samaji said the court had heard us. Review the hearing and give a verdict later. Try to give a verdict today.
Earlier on Tuesday (May 18th), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim's court denied Rozina Islam's remand and ordered her to be sent to jail. Besides, the court fixed today for a hearing on bail.
Journalist Rozina Islam was attacked on Monday (May 18) afternoon while collecting news at the Secretariat of the Ministry of Health. She was detained for six hours and taken to Shahbagh police station under police guard from the secretariat at around 8:30 pm.
