Allegations of corruption against 50 leaders of Hefazat, the ACC is investigating

 The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into allegations of corruption against 50 leaders, including Junaid Babungari and Mamunul Haque, leaders of the defunct Hefazat-e-Islam committee.

Thursday (May 20) ACC Commissioner (Investigation) said. Zahurul Haque has given this information.  A six-member investigation team has been formed headed by Akhtar Hossain Azad, said the ACC commissioner (investigation). Zahurul Haque.

"We have formed a six-member committee on custody," he said. They are discussing. We have specific allegations against them. Investigators will interrogate anyone who needs an investigation. The law says to complete the investigation within 120 days, the investigation work will be completed in accordance with what is in this law.

The other members of the six-member investigation team are- Deputy Director of the Commission. Jahangir Alam and Mohammad Nurul Huda, Assistant Director Mamunur Rashid Chowdhury and Md. Saiduzzaman and Deputy Assistant Director. Shahidur Rahman.
