74 Rohingya youths detained from Boalkhali hills

Chattogram district police arrested 74 Rohingya youths in a special drive from Koraldenga hilly area under Boalkhali upazila here.

Acting on secret information, a team of Boalkhali police station detained the youths from the Koraldenga hilly area, and Jyasthapura under Boalkhali upazila early today, OC Abdul Karim told BSS.

The arrested Rohingyas fled from Ukhia Rohingya camp under Cox’s Bazar, and took shelter at lemon gardens of Karoldenga hills of Boalkhali, he added.

A case was filed in this connection.
