Four timber shops gutted in Ctg

A total of four business establishments were gutted in a fire that broke out at Choragoli lane of city's Bandor area under Bandor thana in the early hours of today.

Farul Hossain Siqdar, Assistant Director of Agrabad fire service station, said that a total of four timber shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at Choragoli lane of city's Bandor area around 4.50 am under Bandor thana.

The reason of the fire could not be known immediately but the fire quickly engulfed the adjacent timber shops, he added.

Four firefighting units from Bandor and Agrabad fire stations rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control around 8.30am.
