2 arrested with 15 gold bars at Benapole

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two suspected smugglers along with 15 gold bars, weighing 2kg, from Choto Anchra border point here on Saturday morning, reports news agency UNB.
A team of BGB members conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shamim Hossain, 34, a resident of Kirtipur village, and Hossain Ali, a resident of Narayanpur village in Sharsha upazila, along with the gold worth Tk 60 lakh, said Lt Col Khabir Uddin, commanding officer of BGB-49 battalion.
