4 missing as Trawler sinks in Tanguar Haor

Four people went missing as a trawler, carrying around 50 people, capsized in Tanguar Haor under Tahirpur upazila on Tuesday morning, reports UNB news agency.

Nandan Kumar, officer-in-charge of Tahirpur police station, said the Uttar Sreepur-bound trawler from Tahirpur sank in the haor around 9:00am due to stormy weather.
 

All but four people managed to swim to safety, he said.
On information, divers rushed in to rescue the missing people, the OC said.
