2 killed in Comilla AL infighting

At least two people were killed and 10 others injured during clashes between two factions of ruling party Awami League over dominance in the area in Rahimpur village of Muradnagar upazila on Tuesday night.
The deceased are Faruque, 40, and Saidur, 45.
A clash took place between the supporters of local Awami League activist Ashraf Hossain and supporters of another AL activist Shah Alam Kabir over dominance in the area around 10:00pm Tuesday, leaving Faruque and Saidur dead on the spot and injuring the others, said Muradnagar police station officer-in-charge SM Bodiuzzaman.
The injured were sent to Muradnagar upazila health complex. Later, four of the injured were sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital as their health condition deteriorated.
