2 died in Munshiganj bus plunge

At least two people were died and 15 others injured in a bus plunge in Kewatchira area on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj on Tuesday night.

Among the deceased, one was identified as Taslima Begum, 55.

A speeding bus fell into a roadside ditch, leaving the two passengers dead on the spot and injuring 15 others, said Srinagar police station officer-in-charge SM Alamgir Hossain.

Among the injured, two were rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in critical condition. The injured were treated in the local hospital, OC added.
