Major Ziauddin passes away

Bangladesh's Liberation War’s Sector No-2 and Witness of Bangabandhu killing case, Sundarban Sub-Sector commander  major (retired) Ziauddin Ahmed, died at Singapore General Hospital on Friday.

Ziauddin’s elder son Zakir Uddin confirmed the matter.

He was suffering from liver disease since long. On July 1, major Zia was admitted at Square Hospital in the capital in critical condition.

Later he was shifted to Singapore General hospital on July 12.
