SSC examination results 2019 likely first week of May

The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent examinations held under ten educational boards are likely to be published simultaneously within May 6, the education ministry source informed on Thursday.

The ministry source also said the authorities will commence the admission process of the successful examinees  in class-XI by May 12.

All the boards of the country have already taken the necessary preparation for publishing the SSC and equivalent exams.
Professor Ziaul Haque, chairmen of Dhaka Education Board, confirmed this before the journalists on Thursday.

“The proposal has been sent by the inter-education board mentioning the potential time of May 4 to 6 for the results of SSC and equivalent examinations. The proposal has been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office for approval. The results will be revealed on the day the Prime Minister gives time,” he said.

SSC and equivalent examinations of 2019 began under ten education boards across the country on February 2.

A total of 21,35,333 students – 10,70,441 boys and 10,64,892 girls – from 28,682 institutions registered for the SSC and equivalent exams this year.

Of the examinees, some 17,00,102 sit for the SSC exams under eight general education boards while some 3,10,172 for Dakhil exams under the Madrasa Education Board, and some 1,25,059 for vocational exams under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
