Rajshahi board on top, Sylhet at bottom again

Rajshahi education board, with 2,08,835 examiness, has again emerged top among ten boards with 91.64 per cent pass rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations.

Sylhet board, with 1,13,463 examinees, on the other hand, secured the lowest pass rate among the ten divisional boards with 70.83 per cent pass rate.

According to statistics released from the education ministry, a total of 21,27,815 students sat for SSC and equivalent examinations, out of which 17,49165 successful.

Pass rate was 79.62per cent in Dhaka board, 91.64 per cent in Rajshahi, 87.16 per cent in Comilla, Jeshore 90.88 Per cent in Jeshore, 78.11 per cent in Chattogram, 77.41per cent in Barishal,   70.83 per cent in Sylhet, 84.10 per cent in Dinajpur , 83.03 per cent in Madrasah board, 72.24 per cent in Technical board.

In 2018, Rajshahi board was on top and sylhet board was at bottom too.
