Innovative approaches to support students in the midst of a pandemic

Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni has sought an alternative method for promoting Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) candidates and other secondary level exams in various educational institutions if the situation with coronavirus or Covid-19 is not common in the country.

Dipu Moni instructed the Dhaka Education Board, Secondary and Higher Education Department, NCT officials to make this proposal while addressing a meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday.

The education minister also highlighted the need to boost university-level online activities.

On the occasion, Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education Aminul Islam Khan, along with officials from the Ministry of Education and officials from departments and agencies under the Ministry of Education.
